Frequently asked questions
What does the booklet order look like?
Pages are arranged so that after printing double-sided and folding the stack in half, everything reads in the right order. For example, an 8-page document prints as 8|1 and 2|7 on the first sheet.
How should I set my printer?
Print double-sided and choose "flip on short edge". Long-edge flipping puts the back sides upside down.
Why did blank pages get added?
A folded booklet always uses a multiple of four pages. If your document is not, blank filler pages are added at the end of the booklet.
What paper size does the output use?
A4 landscape sheets with two pages side by side, each scaled to fit half the sheet while keeping its aspect ratio. Printed on A4, each booklet page ends up roughly A5.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The rearrangement happens entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.
