  3. Download the numbered PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?

Yes — set "Start at" to any number. Useful when your document is part of a larger set or when a cover page counts as page one elsewhere.

Can I skip the first page?

Not yet in this version. A common workaround: split the cover off, number the rest starting at 2, and merge back.

Will the numbers overlap my content?

Numbers sit in the outer margin area (about 1 cm from the edge). On pages with unusually small margins they may touch content — pick a different corner position if that happens.

Does it add a watermark or change quality?

No watermark, ever. The tool only draws small text on each page — your content is not re-encoded, so pages look exactly the same apart from the numbers.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Numbering happens entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.
